On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, the Marine Ecosystem and Environmental Research Team, on behalf of the Foundation, together with faculty members and students from the College of Digital Innovation Technology, Rangsit University, traveled to Lingang Port, Tianjin, China, for a study visit. The purpose of the visit was to test and evaluate the performance of an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) in collaboration with Deepinfar Ocean Technology Inc., a leading global company in underwater robotics technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The objective of this study visit was to explore and assess the use of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) for collecting marine ecosystem data, monitoring water quality, and surveying underwater environments. The research team emphasized the application of AI and automation technology to enhance the efficiency of oceanographic data analysis. This advancement will be highly beneficial for studying changes in the marine environment, tracking aquatic animals, and detecting underwater pollution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u672c\u6b21\u8003\u5bdf\u8bbf\u95ee\u7684\u76ee\u6807\u662f\u63a2\u7d22\u548c\u8bc4\u4f30\u81ea\u4e3b\u6c34\u4e0b\u822a\u884c\u5668\uff08AUV\uff09\u5728\u6d77\u6d0b\u751f\u6001\u7cfb\u7edf\u6570\u636e\u6536\u96c6\u3001\u6c34\u8d28\u76d1\u6d4b\u548c\u6c34\u4e0b\u73af\u5883\u8c03\u67e5\u4e2d\u7684\u5e94\u7528\u3002\u7814\u7a76\u56e2\u961f\u91cd\u70b9\u5173\u6ce8\u4eba\u5de5\u667a\u80fd\uff08AI\uff09\u548c\u81ea\u52a8\u5316\u6280\u672f\u7684\u5e94\u7528\uff0c\u4ee5\u63d0\u9ad8\u6d77\u6d0b\u5b66\u6570\u636e\u5206\u6790\u7684\u6548\u7387\u3002\u8fd9\u4e00\u6280\u672f\u8fdb\u6b65\u5c06\u6781\u5927\u5730\u4fc3\u8fdb\u6d77\u6d0b\u73af\u5883\u53d8\u5316\u7814\u7a76\u3001\u6c34\u751f\u52a8\u7269\u8ffd\u8e2a\u4ee5\u53ca\u6c34\u4e0b\u6c61\u67d3\u68c0\u6d4b\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the research team engaged in discussions and exchanged ideas with the team from Deepinfar Ocean Technology Inc. regarding the development of AUV technology to enhance its accuracy and suitability for both research and commercial applications. The discussions also covered the advancement of Machine Learning and AI to assist in analyzing data collected from sensors installed on the AUV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
